It will be great as long as TSA allows it on the plane.

Ready for three nights camping, maybe four, while off grid

For my ResMed AirSense 11 Autoset. I first tried the EXP48PRO charged to 100% overnight with the humidifier just to check. It lasted 6 hours, not unexpected.

Next, starting again at 100% and with the humidifier off, about 1/3 of the battery was used for each of 3 nights in a row. Then, I charged it up to 43% with a fully charged Makita battery charger; it took about 6 hours. Thus, I'm ready for a 4-night camping trip without electricity - 3 with the starting charge of 100% and a 4th by charging back up part way with the Makita.

And then I had a new idea. I tried overnight without the humidifier AND airplane mode, and I still had 74% left after 8 hours sleep (instead of about 64%). So I might possibly make 4 nights on one 100% charge. Why does no one mention using airplane mode to decrease battery use?

I'd be interested to hear if others charge their battery while driving their car... how long did that take to get how much charge?

We're glad to hear that it has been working well for your camping trips and that you were able to get about 3-4 nights of usage on a single charge. We appreciate your suggestion of using airplane mode to decrease battery usage and we will definitely keep that in mind for future customers, we need to do more testing on this to fully understand the actual battery savings. As for charging the battery while driving, you can expect the EXP48PRO APEX to fully charge in approx. 4 hours via the included DC car charger.

Compact & Powerful Battery

The EX48PRO was delivered in the projected time frame, which is great for any shipment involving Lithium batteries.
The packaging was clear and of very high quality.
The travel bag, power cables including the specific cable to support our CPAP model were included.
We ran the CPAP with the humidifier and tube heating turned off.
We started our pre-trip test of the battery with our CPAP, starting with 99% charge reading.
While we customarily run the CPAP with both humidification & tube heating, we turned both of those functions off as recommended to maximize the time the battery will run the CPAP.
We started our pre-trip test with the EX48PRO battery reading 99% charged.
After 8 hours the battery charge read 60%, so that is right in line with the estimates provided by EXPRO Power.
We are very satisfied with the battery and are now confident that it will provide us with the needed power source for those campgrounds where generator "quiet time" might crimp our comfort and health.
Lastly, but just as importantly, the customer service from EXPRO POWER has been absolutely the best in answering lots of questions and helping a first time buyer through the process of adding this equipment to our camping arsenal.

Battery backup EXP48PRO for Airmini

Tested here at home prior to rafting trip on Snake River. Got 4 nights of use and only will have 3 nights without power on River.

Connecting To Your CPAP

The EXP48PRO includes the DC power cord that connects the battery to your CPAP machine. Please be sure to select the correct cord for your machine when ordering.

Since any inverter, either built into the battery, or a stand-alone item consumes a fair amount of power we recommend using the DC power cord.

Up to two of the EXP48PRO batteries can be brought with you in your carry-on luggage. The FAA regulations state the limit is 160 watt hours (Wh), and the EXP48PRO only contains 153.6 Wh per battery.

Please check current FAA regulations and the individual airline rules prior to airline travel. Do not put EXP PRO batteries or any other lithium batteries or devices containing lithium batteries in checked baggage of any type. If allowed by FAA regulations and individual airline rules only take in carry-on baggage.

Have used this battery as well as its bigger brother. It is a powerful yet fairly light unit. It recharges in about 2.5 hrs after 1/2 depletion. I can get at least 2 nights (14 hrs) use with my Resmed 10 without the humidifier or heated hose activated. I got 5-6 nights with the larger battery without humidifier and heated hose. Overall, happy with this and would recommend.

It lasts a while and doesn't take that long to fully charge. My machine works perfectly while it is plugged in and I can use it for about 2 nights before I need to charge it. I'm so happy I finally found a battery I like.

I live in Florida so I wanted to buy a battery to use in case of a hurricane. I looked around and finally decided on this one. I charged it once I received it and hooked it up to my machine to see how it would work. My machine worked the whole night without interruptions and I was even able to hook up my machine to it the next night as well. This battery is definitely worth the price!

Big capacity, but small size and weight when compared to sim I tested this and I was able to get 3.5...nights of 7-8 hours of sleep with the Z2 running at 13-14 hg pressure. Hopefully after a few uses the battery will get 4 complete nights, as batteries tend to not be full capacity until they get used a few times. Overall I'm satisfied and I'm thinking of getting a second one for an extended remote camping trip to power camera battery recharging equipment.
