Choosing the right CPAP battery depends on how and where you plan to use it.
For airline travel and backpacking: The lightweight EXP48PRO APEX provides 2–3 nights of CPAP power and has a 154Wh capacity. It falls within the FAA’s 160Wh limit for larger lithium batteries, although airline approval is required before travel.
For multi-night camping, RV use and extended backup power: The EXP96PRO APEX offers twice the capacity of the EXP48PRO and provides 4–6 nights of CPAP power.
All EXP PRO batteries use long-lasting LiFePO4 battery technology rated for up to 5,000 charge cycles—significantly more than many conventional lithium-ion batteries.
Runtime estimates assume the humidifier and heated hose are turned off. Actual runtime varies by CPAP machine, pressure settings, mask leak, temperature and battery condition.
