Both batteries are compatible with the BiPAP machines listed above. The main difference is capacity.
EXP48PRO APEX
The EXP48PRO APEX has 153.6Wh of capacity and weighs approximately 3.25 pounds.
It is the better choice when portability and lower weight are the priority.
EXP96PRO APEX
The EXP96PRO APEX has 307.2Wh of capacity and weighs approximately 6.5 pounds.
It provides twice the battery capacity of the EXP48PRO APEX and is the better choice for longer runtimes and extended backup power.
How Long Will an EXP PRO Battery Run a BiPAP?
BiPAP runtime depends on the specific machine, pressure settings, humidifier use, and heated tubing.
Because BiPAP machines can use more power than standard CPAP machines, runtime can vary significantly between users.
Using heated humidification or heated tubing will reduce battery runtime.
