The cigarette lighter plug doesn’t stay seated well in the socket - a small nudge or tug on the cord and it shifts, interrupting the connection. It’s possible this is an issue with my socket but the plug for my travel fridge seats firmly in the same socket. Further, the power brick has to be turned on whenever it’s plugged in, so you then have to turn this back on. Would have preferred a simpler cord that simply stepped up the 12v to 24v the CPAP. Probably would be cheaper, too.

I used this DC power supply to run my BiPAP machine on a 36 ah battery back for 5 nights. I thought it would be more efficient than an inverter and AC power supply and I can use it camping if there is no electricity. If I had to run it off my jeep battery I’m confident it won’t kill the battery after one night.
