I'd thrown out one I'd bought earlier in the year, so I was skeptical.
I ran my CPAP using a standard 45Ah 12V car battery while camping recently, because my ResMed battery only lasts a night. The 24V converter worked like a champ! The car battery dropped only 0.2V (from 12.6 to 12.4V) over my usual 8 hour sleep period. The unit ran at room temperature, and my CPAP worked fine. I had the 3-day trip I'd planned!
I already had a 10A cigarette lighter socket w/alligator clips so this was literally plug and play. Now I also have peace of mind as winter and the usual power outages approach.
I have obstructive sleep apnea and from June 1st-November 30th is hurricane season here in Florida. The power can go out for some time so I need a reliable power backup. The EXP PRO96 is critical to me getting uninterrupted sleep in the event of power loss. I also purchased the Resmed Autosense 10 power cable (RM-10) and that works well too. Highly recommended.

Works well and is fairly long so it can reach out if power has to be located further away!
