CPAP Battery

The EXP96PRO worked very well. I used it 3 consecutive nights and the CPAP worked as required. I had 37% left of battery life so I had enough left for 1-2 nights. My only complaint is that the charger (AC that plugs into the wall) gets so hot after a few minutes of charging. It’s hot to the touch and I worry about fire due to the heat.

I’d like to add the Customer Service was great. I called twice to ask questions once I received the battery, and Mike and Andrew were very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Thank you for your review. We very much enjoy talking with and helping our customers. The AC charge cord is built to withstand a higher temp. It provides a higher wattage to charge the battery quickly. It is always a good practice to keep any wall plug away from blankets or other items. Of course, if for some reason you notice a smell or deformity of the power cord, please discontinue use and let us know.

The EXP96PRO APEX Is all that and more! Small, compact, 6.5 lb. With a comfortable carrying handle and lots of ports. It ran my husbands BIPAP and my CPAP and charged a phone all at the same time, all night. I can get 4 nights on my CPAP alone on one charge. Quickly recharges on DC current too. Only a couple hours. WIN, WIN, WIN! Where have you been all my life? So great, I can go anywhere now. Did I mention a quick phone call to the company before I ordered answered all my questions and made great suggestions to make this such a positive experience.

Camping trip

It works as advertised.

Bought mostly for long-weekend camping trips. Wanted a good 4 nights, knowing that my Wife will at some point want to charge her phone to take pictures of kids. Gave it an initial 3 night test at home after the initial charge. Resmed10, auto pressure between 5 and 9, EPR at 1, 7.5 hours each night. Indicated power consumption of 12 or 13% per night.
Might have preferred a size between the 48 and 96, but this will do fine. One annoyance (largely insignificant, but worth mention) is having to set the output for 24V each time.

EXP PRO batteries can be recharged 4 different ways:

Connecting to Your CPAP

The EXP96PRO includes the DC power cord that connects the battery to your CPAP machine. Please be sure to select the correct cord for your machine when ordering.

Since any inverter, either built into the battery, or a stand-alone item consumes a fair amount of power we recommend using the DC power cord.

The EXP96PRO contains 307.2 Wh per battery. According to current FAA regulations this does not allow it to be brought aboard airline flights, checked or carry on baggage.

Do not put EXP PRO batteries or any other lithium batteries or devices containing lithium batteries in checked baggage of any type.

My wife and I were able to run both our resmed airminis three and one half nights on a full...charge. We have now used it on two camping trips, the first we started at full charge and ran two CPAPs for two nights without re-charging, and it ran perfectly. And this last weekend we started at roughly half charge, charged a couple hours from our cars dc 12v cigarette lighter using the supplied cable, and then it ran our CPAPs each night just fine. That is 3 nights charging a couple hours each day from a car. It is expensive, but this is now the forth battery I have purchased in an effort to find a battery that would work for our needs, this one worked perfectly for what we wanted (being able to run at least two nights running two cpaps without recharging.) I wish I would have just bought this one first.
